## Topic Body

1) Apple은 1683만개의 IP를 사용한다.  
2) 미국방부는 /8 block을 14개 가지고 있다. (2억 3천만개)  
3) IP 대역을 20년 전에 발급받아 놨으면 꽤 큰 돈을 벌 수 있었다.  
   - 그 때는 회사가 IP 대역을 신청하면 '비교적 여유로운' 심사 후 할당되는 방식이었기 때문. 지금은 2차 시장에서 사는게 일반적  
4) 지금은 회사가 가진 IP 대역이 회사 자산에서 적지 않은 부분을 차지하고 있음.

10년 전쯤 기업 내부 앱인데 푸시를 사용해야 하는 상황에서 보안상 outbound도 ip를 열어야했는데, apns의 아이피 알려고 하다가 17.0.0.0/8 이라고 되어 있는걸 보고 놀란 기억이 있네요.

제가 다니던 학교는 AAA.BBB로 시작하는 IP는 전부 갖고 있는데 그게 꽤 드문 편이라고 들었던 기억이 있네요.
