- Sentry가 독점으로 전환되기 전 오픈소스 코드베이스 일부를 포크하고 대부분 재구현   
- 원하는 방식으로 자유롭게 이용가능한 현대적이고 개발하기 쉬운 오류 추적 플랫폼을 목표   
- Python 3 + Django 4 + Postgres   
- Django 에코시스템을 활용해서 기존 앱들을 최대한 활용   
- 아무런 추적 패키지도 사용하지 않음(셀프호스트한 GlitchTip은 아무것도 외부로 보내지 않음)
