- Windows Defender의 실시간 프로텍션 기능이 활성화 되면, 특정 시스템 호출(VirtualProtect)이 CPU를 많이 사용한다는 것을 Firefox 엔지니어가 발견   
- 이를 Microsoft에 제보해서 패치됨  
- 해당 이슈에 대해서는 5년전에 문제점이 제기 되었으나, 이제서야 패치가 된 것   
- 4월 4일에 릴리즈된 mpengine.dll 1.1.20200.4 에 포함

해커뉴스 답글중에, 저 버그로 인해 얼마나 많은 탄소를 배출했을까 계산하려고한 그런 답변이 있는데, 내가 효율적으로 코드를 짜면 지구를 지킬 수 있다는 생각을 해보니 흥미로웠습니다.

의리로(?) 파폭 쓰고 있지만 맥에서도 plugin-container가 CPU 엄청 잡아먹는 문제가 계속 있죠 ㅠㅠ
