## Topic Body

- 웹의 초기부터 수학식을 웹에서 표현하고자 하는 시도는 있었음  
- Mozilla & WebKit에서 MathML의 초기 스펙이 지원되었지만,  
Blink 엔진으로 교체되고 나서 2013년에 MathML은 다양한 이유로 인해 삭제 되었음   
- 이제 다시 크롬 109 버전부터 MathML의 Core 서브셋 구현체가 포함되어서 누구나 사용 가능해짐   
- MathML 3 스펙에서 중요한 부분을 가져오고, 상세 렌더링 룰 및 자동화된 테스트, CSS 연동등을 포함   
- 비즈니스 사례가 없음에도 불구하고 메이저 기능이 웹으로 돌아온 첫번째 사례   
  - 3가지 접근 방식 : Igalia 멤버들의 코드 작성, NISO 과 Alfred P. Sloan 재단등의 비용 후원, MathML 커뮤니티의 지원
