- 개발자 로컬환경에서 리눅스 컨테이너를 만들고, 실행하고, 퍼블리시 하는 새로운 커맨드 라인 도구   
  - 리눅스가 아닌 호스트에서 리눅스 컨테이너를 구축하고 실행하는 것에 도움을 주기 위한 것  
- 초기 버전은 macOS(인텔/애플)만 지원. 윈도우/리눅스도 지원 예정   
- Lima + nerdctl + containerd + BuildKit
