- "조용한 정리해고"가 진행중이며, 전체 회사의 최대 15%(약 12000명)까지 될 수도   
- 한번에 정리해고를 하는 것이 아니라, 실적 기대치를 이용한 프로세스로 진행  
- 각 매니저들에게 팀 멤버중 15%를 "Need Support"로 분류하라고 지시   
- 이들은 "PIP(Performance Improvement Plan)"에 들어가게 됨   
- PIP에 들어가는 것은 "You're Screwed"랑 같은 의미. 30일내로 사내의 다른 포지션에 지원해야 함   
- 이미 매니저들 다수도 PIP를 받았다고 알려짐  
  > "앞으로 나아가는 것 처럼 보이지만, 쫓겨나는 거라는게 현실"

네 다른 기사에서 보면 올해 6/30일 기준 83,553 명 이라고 하네요.

[구글과 메타, 비용 및 인력 감축 예정](https://news.hada.io/topic?id=7464)  
소문처럼 나오더니, 실제로 진행하는 것 같네요.   
  
이름을 변경하면서 VR과 메타버스에 집중하고 하는 것이 뭔가 아직 시기상조인 것도 있고,  
그동안 페이스북이 보여온 개인정보 침해에 관한 논란들이 쌓인거라.. 과연 어떻게 헤쳐나갈 수 있을지..
