- Volvo의 시스템 아키텍트 인터뷰   
- 이미 개발되고 잘 테스트된 기존 코드를 교체하는 것은 의미가 없지만, 신규 개발되는 코드는 가능하다면 반드시 Rust로 개발   
- 그렇다고 Rust가 만병통치약 이라는 것은 아님. 아직 Rust는 거친 부분이 있고 최고의 선택이라고는 볼수 없는 트레이드오프를 해야함   
- 하지만 전반적으로 Rust는 더 낮은 비용으로 더 높은 품질의 코드를 생성할수 있는 잠재력이 있으며, 이는 결과적으로 보증 비용(Warranty Cost)를 줄여주므로 결과적으로 Win-Win 임

아직 Go도 익숙하지 않지만, Rust도 준비하긴 해야겠다 싶군요.

저도 포팅은 의미 없다고 봅니다. 새로 개발하는데 기존 c++ 라이브러리 사용 시 ffi 너무 귀찮은데 얼마 안 되는 코드면 포팅한다 이 정도는 몰라도...

러스트가 무르익으려면 시간이 좀 필요하겠지만, 다른 언어들과 비교했을 때 정말 큰 장점이 있는 것 같아요.
