- Windows는 점유율 때문에 스파이웨어, 바이러스, 랜섬웨어가 주요 타켓하는 OS  
- macOS는 맥북에 기본설치 되어있고 Linux는 무료지만, 윈도우 프로페셔널 버전은 별도 구매해야함   
- 많은 노트북에 기본 설치되어 제공되는 윈도우 홈 에디션은 깃랩의 보안 가이드라인을 만족하지 않음. 홈 에디션은 보안이 어렵기로 악명 높음   
- 그럼에도 꼭 윈도우 사용이 필요하다면 "예외 관리 프로세스"에 따라 별도 신청이 필요  
  - 사용 기간을 명시해야함

윈도 홈 에디션에 그룹정책편집기(gpedit.msc)가 없어서 보안 설정이 힘들었던 기억이 나네요.

우리나라 회사는 윈도우 외 os를 사용하려면 예외신청 해야하는 경우가 많은데 흥미롭네요
