- 같은 단색(푸른계열)이라도 파일 크기가 103~1189byte로 차이가 있음   
- PLTE(팔렛트) 및 IDAT(이미지 데이터) 섹션을 어떻게 구성하느냐에 따라 다름   
- 왜 이런 최적화가 필요할까?  
→ 온라인 지도의 바다 부분 파일에서 사용   
→ OpenStreetMap은 103byte, Bing Map은 156, 구글지도는 178, Here는 1189  
- 클라이언트가 스케일링을 지원하면 최소화 시킬 수 있는 것은 69byte
