이 글의 해석을 놓고 의견이 분분하군요.

그러니까 지금 돈을 $500k 를 바로 주는 거고, 그중에 $125k에 7%는 고정

나머지 $375k는 돈은 지금 먼저 받지만, 다음 라운드에 어떤 조건으로 투자 받느냐에 따라서 YC가 받을 지분의 규모가 달라진다는 얘기.

즉 아주 높은 가치로 투자받으면 YC가 받게되는 지분이 얼마 안될수도 있다는 것

그럼 높은 밸류로 성장할 수록 YC의 이득이 적어진다는건데...

'우리한테 지분 많이 뺏기고 싶지 않으면 열심히 성장해서 높은 밸류로 평가받아라!' 이런 느낌인걸까요?

높은 밸류가 되면 yc가 가져갈 지분의 양은 적어지지만 어쨌든 지분의 가치는 올라가니까, 꽤 괜찮은 딜인것 같네요
