- 페이스북이 작년 5월에 GIF 공유 서비스 Giphy를 $400M(4억달러)에 인수하기로 합의 한 뒤, 독점 금지 관련 조사가 진행됨

- 영국의 경쟁시장국(Competition and Markets Authority, CMA)은

CMA는 이미 이 거래 조사과정에서 페이스북이 명령을 위반 한것에 대해 약 $70M(칠천만 달러, 900억원)의 벌금을 부과한 바 있음

근데 영국 규제당국이 페이스북에 지시한다고 무조건 이행해야 하는 것도 아닌지라, 이미 합병 완료된 건을 어케 하려나 싶네요.

Giphy 안팔면 영국에서 페이스북 서비스 못하게 철수시킬 수 있을지도 잘 모르겠고요.
