세계 최대 오픈소스 컨퍼런스중 하나인 FOSDEM을 Matrix에서 호스팅한 방법을 설명한 후기

- 3만명의 온라인 참석자(작년 오프라인 참석자 8500명)

- Matrix(Synapse on EMS) + Jitsi(비디오 컨퍼런싱) + Jibri(브로드캐스팅) + Conference-Bot(컨퍼런스 관리용 Matrix 봇, 오픈소스)

- IRC/XMPP/Slack/Discord 등으로도 참가

동아리에서 jitsi와 matrix를 활용하곤하는데, 처음엔 조금 어색했지만 나중가니 편해지더군요.

많은 커뮤니티에서 활용을 했으면 좋겠네요

아무래도 올해까지는 오프라인 보다 온라인 컨퍼런스가 대세일 것 같은데,

오픈소스 만으로도 이정도 규모의 온라인 컨퍼런스가 가능하다는걸 보여준 행사인듯 합니다.
