머큐리얼을 선택하는 비트버킷 신규 사용자 비율이 1% 아래로 떨어졌다는군요. 앞으로는 깃에 집중한다고 합니다.

* 2020년 2월 1일부터 신규 머큐리얼 저장소 생성 불가

* 2020년 6월 1일부로 머큐리얼 기능 사용 불가, 머큐리얼 저장소 삭제

예정입니다. 깃 이전도 지원할 계획이라네요.

오픈 허브 자료를 보면

2019년 현재 오픈소스 리파지토리 130만개

Git  91만개 - 70%

SVN 32만개 - 25%

머큐리얼 1.8만개 - 1%

정도네요. 저 SVN 도 점차 줄어 가고 있으니 곧 같은 신세가 아닐지 ?

참고로 2012년에는

Git : 12만개 26%

SVN : 26만개 57%

였답니다.
