IBM인수 후 CentOS 정책 변화(https://blog.centos.org/2020/12/future-is-centos-stream/) 로 인해 CentOS 의 창립자인 Gregory Kurtzer 에 의해 기존의 Centos와 같은 RHEL의 Clone 을 새롭게 만든다고 합니다

- RHEL과 100% 버그 호환(RHEL과 동일함)

- 이름은 CentOS 공동 창립자인 'Rocky McGaugh'를 추모하며 따왔습니다.
