- **GentleOS/32**는 빈티지 32비트 PC를 위한 취미 운영체제로, 레트로 하드웨어를 만져보고 베어메탈에서 그래픽 인터랙티브 앱을 실행하기 위한 단순한 플랫폼 제공
- 최소 요구 사양은 **i386 CPU**, RAM 4MB, 640x480x16 모드를 지원하는 VGA 디스플레이
- 설계상 완전한 **모놀리식** 구조이며 대부분 컴파일 시점에 설정되고, 표준 PC 장치인 VGA/SVGA, 키보드, PS/2 마우스, 시리얼 마우스, PC 스피커만 지원
- 향후 계획은 버그 수정, 최적화, 앱 추가만 해당
- 80186까지의 장치를 대상으로 하는 순수 16비트 파생 프로젝트 [GentleOS/16](https://github.com/luke8086/gentleos) 존재
- 빌드와 실행 세부 정보는 USAGE.md 참조
- 별도 표기가 없는 한 **GPLv2** 라이선스 적용

* 작업 공개 고맙고 인상적임. **Uxn 에뮬레이터**를 구현하면 레트로컴퓨팅/퍼머컴퓨팅 쪽에서 관심을 받을 수 있을 듯함
