- MS는 XP에 대한 지원을 2014년에 중단했지만, 2017년에 WannaCry 멀웨어때문에 패치를 배포한적 있음

- 2020년 3월, Xbox Series X 그래픽 소스코드가 도난당해서 유출

- 2020년 5월, 오리지널 XBox와 Windows NT 3.5 소스코드 유출

관련해서 재미난 기사는, 해당 유출된 코드를 뒤져보니

XP개발 초기에 MS가 Mac 의 Aqua 와 유사한 테마를 만들어 썼다는 기록이 있다는 거네요.

테마 이름은 "Candy"로 "Whistler kin with Eye Candy" 라는 설명과 함께 "내부 사용 전용"이라고  붙어있다고.

(Whislter 는 XP 의 코드네임)
