## Topic Body

한국어·중국어·일본어는 만(萬) 단위로 수를 읽는데, 아라비아 숫자는 천 단위로 쉼표를 찍습니다. 1,234,567,890을 보고 “십이억 삼천사백오십육만 칠천팔백구십”을 바로 읽어내려면 매번 머릿속에서 자릿수를 다시 세야 합니다.  
  
그러므로, 만 단위 구분자로 밑줄(`_`)을 쓰자고 제안합니다.  
  
> 기존: 1,234,567,890  
> 제안: 12_3456_7890  
  
밑줄은 ASCII 범위 안에 있어 어떤 키보드에서도 바로 입력할 수 있고, Python·Rust 등 여러 언어가 수 리터럴 구분자로 이미 쓰고 있습니다. 쉼표와 병용하면 두 체계를 계층적으로 나타낼 수도 있습니다.  
  
영어·한국어·일본어·중국어(간체·번체) 다섯 언어판을 만들었습니다. 코드와 내용 모두 [Codeberg]에 공개되어 있습니다.

아직은 햇갈리지만 익숙해지면 천 단위로 구분하는것보다 편할것같네요

해당 프로젝트가 활성화되려면 아라비아 숫자-한문 변환기 같은 기능이 필요할 것 같은데 의미가 있을지는 모르겠네요.

다행히 [CommonMark 스펙에 따르면](https://spec.commonmark.org/0.31.2/#emphasis-and-strong-emphasis) Markdown의 `_` 문법은 단어 경계에서만 동작합니다!

음 천단위로 쓰는게 세계 공통인데.. 약간 kg 대신 파운드 쓰자고 주장하는 느낌 같기도 하네요.. 유럽에서도 1,000이 아니라 1.000 써서 에러 많은데
