- Jazzband: 여러 파이썬 패키지를 여러 maintainer가 함께 관리하던 "공동 유지" 오픈소스 커뮤니티  
  - 대표적인 오픈소스 프로젝트로는 pip-tools, tablib, django-auditlog, djangorestframework-simplejwt 가 있음  
- 근본적인 문제: 2010년대 중반부터 단일 운영자([roadies](https://jazzband.co/roadies))에 과도한 부담이 쌓인 구조, 자원봉사에 의존한 거버넌스·재정 문제, 지속 가능성 논의가 계속돼 왔음  
- AI/LLM 이슈: GitHub에서 LLM 기반 저품질 PR, 이슈가 폭증하는 이른바 "slopocalypse(본문에서 언급)"가 발생하면서, "누구나 가입하면 레포에 쓸수있는 권한" 모델을 더 이상 안전하게 유지하기 어려워짐 -> 공급망 이슈에 취약  
- 결론: AI는 방아쇠 역할을 했지만, 근본적인 이유는 오래된 운영 구조, 거버넌스, 재정 문제에 있음  
- 계획: 새 멤버, 새 프로젝트는 중단, 2026년 말까지 단계적으로 커뮤니티 운영 종료, 기존 프로젝트는 다른 조직이나 개인 계정으로 이관 예정
