정작 그 얘기가 자세히 들어있지는 않네요.

MySQL 의 이름은 "내SQL" 이 아니라 개발자 Michael Widenius (닉네임 Monty) 의 첫째딸 이름이 "My"

둘째딸 이름이 "Maria"  여서 이름이 저렇게 정해진 거라는거.

물론 아들인 "Max" 이름을 딴 MaxDB 도 있습니다. 이건 Monty 가 개발한건 아니고, 홍보를 위해서 이름만 빌려준 거긴 합니다. https://eperi.com/eperi-meets-mariadb-strategy-meeting-best-known-mysql-co-founder-michael-widenius/
