- 의존성 관리와 써드파티 확장들 : PEAR,PECL에서 Composer로

- FFI(외부 함수 인터페이스) : 타 언어와의 연계가 쉬워져서 TensorFlow Bindings for PHP 같은 것들이 가능해짐

- 보안을 덜 모호하게

- 지속적인 성능 개선 : 7.4 는 5.6대비 3배의 Req처리 성능. 프리로딩 지원. JIT 추가(8에서 공식 릴리즈 예정)
