수많은 사람들이 사용하는 Curl은 별도의 수익모델도 없고, 재단소속도 아니고, 특별한 회사 스폰서도 없었는데, 지금까지 받은 후원금중 가장 큰 규모라고.

예전 openssl도 그렇고... 핫하고 인기있는 오픈소스(주로 테크기업에서 추진하는)에 비해, 좀 더 기저에 위치한 오래된 오픈소스들은 상대적으로 힘든가봅니다.
