입사했던 2008년에는 그 말이 중요했지만 이젠 아니다. 그냥 마케팅 도구일뿐.

중국에서 철수했던 2010년과 달리, 중국전용 검색엔진 프로젝트 DragonFly와 베이징에 오픈한 AI센터등 큰 중국시장을 무시하지 못한다.

공식적인 인권 프로그램에 대해서 계속 얘기했지만 거부당했다.

무엇이 변했을까 ?

1.사람이 변했다. - CEO가 바뀌었고, 계속 새로운 사람이 들어오고, 처음의 가치와 문화를 지키기 어려워짐

2.제품도 변했다. - 사우디 남성들이 집안의 여성들을 트래킹 하는데 사용하는 Absher앱을 호스팅하고, 클라우드경쟁에서 뒤쳐진 경영진들이 돈내려는 어떤 앱이든 호스팅하려고함.

더이상 구글같은 테크회사들은 정부의 감독없이 자유롭게 운영할수 없다.
