- 드디어 이 코덱에 대한 하드웨어 지원이 확대되고 있음  
  - Apple의 새로운 M3 칩은 AV1 디코딩을 지원

- 오피셜 Android 14 호환성 스펙에 의하면 AV1 지원은 필수  
- 2023년에 출시되는 Android 휴대폰에 널리 사용되는 스냅드래곤 8 2세대 칩셋은 AV1을 지원  
- Microsoft Edge를 제외한 모든 브라우저는 AV1을 지원

av1도 다 지원되어가니, 마지막으로 avif까지만 딱 지원해주면 참 좋을텐데요..

Edge의 경우는 이상하게 Microsoft Store에 있는 AV1 Video Extension을 설치해야만 지원합니다. 크롬은 기본 내장.  
사람들이 이런 코덱을 찾아서 설치하지는 않기 때문에 실제로는 지원안한다고 적은 것이라고 보여집니다.
