11년전 출시할때부터 이름이 V8 이었던지라, 8은 건너뛰고, 9는 안쓰니까 빼고(윈도우즈 와 아이폰처럼) X으로 바로 갈까? 등 유머스런 기대가 있었지만 그대로 v8.0 으로 발표.
