"Connected Home over IP"라는 프로젝트명으로

로열티 없는 새 연결표준을 만드는 워킹그룹을 만들었다고 발표.

IP기반으로 연결하는 안전하고 심리스한 통신방법이 될것이며, 오픈소스로 진행할 것.

Zigbee연합에는 IKEA,삼성 SmartThings,Signify(필립스 조명),NXP가 참여중.

구글은 기존에 만들었던 OpenWeave 와 Thread 프로토콜의 코어 기술들을 이 프로젝트에 컨트리뷰트 하겠다고 별도 글로 적어서 추가 발표.

스마트홈이 파편화되서 골치아픈데, 표준 제정되고 시장에까지 풀리려면 앞으로 몇년은 더 이런 상황이 지속되겠군요.
