VSC 기반이라 VSC 익스텐션도 쓸수 있다면... VSC 가 에디터계의 크롬이 된 느낌이네요.

VSCode 가 이미 크롬의 크로미움마냥 VSCodium 이라는 이름으로 오픈소스화 되어있습니다.  
저도 이번에 알게됐습니다 ㅎㅎ

VSC는 VSC 자체로 오픈소스고 Codium은 MS의 텔레메트리와 잡다한 부분을 걷어낸 부분입니다.  
chrome -> ungoogled chrome  
vscode -> codium  
같은 관계인거죠..
